She's just a "wild & crazy" girl!

After we arrived at school today, I knew Jinji's day was going to be different when I saw helium balloons being blown up. But I had no idea how much fun.

She had blue hair spiked when I picked her up. Her teachers said it was "crazy hair" day. All the kids had crazy hair styles and colors. I could tell that Jinji had a fun time.

It was a birthday celebration for a student and a teacher. It is also Jinji's Auntie Pam's birthday!
Jinji received her first helium balloon and delighted in it the rest of the evening.

Transition to Daycare: Jinji-done; Parents-working on it.

This is will hurt us more than it hurts you

This is the face of a little one who had a ball during her first day at Montessori Infant Care. She charmed her teachers and surprised her mom with her skills. Although we were only there for 3 hours, Jinji played enough to exhaust herself; she was "out" before we left campus.

Mommy & Daddy are "hurting". We have been Jinji's parents for less than 2 months and now we have to share her day with others. We are consoling ourselves.

A Girl and her Pancake (video added)

Bill and I took Jinji to the local IHOP for a meal. She had been eating finger-sized food up until then. We decided to give a whole silver dollar pancake to see what she would do with it.
.
At first, she seemed to think that there was some mistake. She looked to the waitress for reassurance.

Then she touched it to be sure her eyes were not decieving her.
Within the next few minutes the pancake was in shreds and very little got into her mouth.

There are consequences when you party all night...

Okay, okay, before you get excited. We didn't keep Jinji up until midnight. She had a full night's sleep. Mommy got her up for the Rose Parade and she only catnapped midmorning. We gave her lunch and figured she would take her afternoon nap instead.

We guess the excitement of the parade was tiring.
