Just of few candids

First signs that dresses will be preferred.

Here's Jinji waiting at the door for her Tisse to take her swimming.
Here's my Mother's Day present from Jinji. Jinji made sure I knew the rock was the most important part. (priceless)

Jinji and Linda in the cute, matching Hawaiian outfits that Linda's Mom bought

We attended our adoption agency's annual summer picnic in Long Beach in news-worthy heat.

And speaking of news, we were interviewed by the local Long Beach paper before the picnic http://www.gazettes.com/adoption05152008.html because high ranking officials from China and Cambodia were to be in attendance.

We had the unique experience of being able to speak directly with an orphanage director. It was a pleasure to express our feelings and gratitude about adopting from China. The director asked many questions about our adoption process and noted how pleased he was to see the children well established with good parents.

The girls were able to make fun visors at the craft activities and they won cookies participating in "cookie walk". There was a bounce house and pinata. We stayed cool with Linda's spray bottle of water, plenty of water, and the shade from the trees.

We also enjoyed seeing all the adoptive families. Our good friend Bruce, who lives in Long Beach, stopped by to see us, as well. What a great day!
