Yesterday, we took off for Vegas to celebrate Daddy's birthday-7/7/07.
Jinji did great in the car and the drive was pleasant except for the extreme temperatures. Although we were quite comfortable in the car, Mommy kept checking the outside temperatures.
Jinji played with her magna doodle, read her books, and snoozed.
It got hotter..
and hotter....
and topped at 117 degrees.
Today, we met up with Uncle Dan, Aunt Lynda, Toryn and Carver for breakfast on Friday. Jinji and Carver entertained each other and ate heartily.
Toryn entertained Jinji while we finished our breakfast. She delighted in playing with the boys as they ran through the hotel lobby.

We are sure glad we didn't know that you were driving there during the peak heat of the day. We were worried enough about you and Jinji. Decades ago people just didn't dare do that. Now have a great time, and a very happy birthday, Bill!
