Gung Hay Fat Choy!

Jinji enjoyed her first Chinese New Year celebration. It was sponsored by our FCC group (Families with Children from China). Jinji wore one of the traditional outfits we bought while we were in China.

It is the Year of the Pig and each child received a plush pink pig.

We shared a table with the Eisenhamers, Melissa-Linda-Bill.

Jinji, cautiously, place an envelope for luck in the lion's mouth.

Along with the lion dancers, we enjoyed traditional Chinese music, dance, and food.

By the end of the afternoon, Jinji was ready for a nap.
