We have been a little nuts around our house. We are just waiting to receive our TA or Travel Approval from the Chinese government. Once our agency receives our TA, they will be able to schedule our appointment with the US Consulate in China.
Bill is ready to bolt to LAX and I have been channeling all my nervous energy into knitting booties for Jinji. My good friend & coworker, Jan, give me a wonderful knitting book. It contained a pattern for knitted Mary Janes.
I have completed several pairs.
We have also been busy-
- obtaining our Chinese Visas,
- completing our travel immunizations,
- securing another USCIS (US immigration office) approval (I171H) to bring Jinji to the US,
- putting together a mobile pharmacy for us and Jinji,
- collecting all "keep the baby clothed and alive" kit,
- meeting with the pediatrician,
- and trying to remain sane.
